Thanksgiving Turkey Drive

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and Family Assistance Ministry will be taking basket donations to distribute to those families who are less fortunate.

If you don’t have time to purchase items for the baskets, we will gladly take monetary donations.


Thanksgiving Turkey Drive Check List:

Each dinner should be placed in a PLASTIC LAUNDRY BASKET  and consist of:

  • 12-15lbs. of frozen turkey
  • Disposable aluminum roasting pan
  • Stuffing mix
  • Gravy mix or can
  • 5 lbs of potatoes and/or sweet potatoes
  • Cranberry sauce
  • 2 Cans of vegetable
  • Ingredients for a salad – (canned or fresh fruit works best with a bag of mini marshmallows for a nice fruit salad.)
  • Rolls and margarine or butter
  • Dessert (avoid frozen desserts – they melt quickly)
  • Whatever your family enjoys on this holiday!

Please do not send fresh turkeys since we cannot ensure freshness. Baskets will be collected on Sunday, November 19
between 8:00 and 11:00 am in the Parish Hall.
