What are the time Requirements to be a Confirmation Teacher?

1. Two year commitment as confirmation is a two year program.
2. Two Tuesdays per month. One class in your home and one class in the Parish Hall. Approximately 10-12 teens per class plus three SALT teens who co-teach with you.
3. One retreat per year in the mountains with your class (Friday through Sunday).
4. One day teacher retreat per year.
5. One teacher workshop per month.
6. Approximately 2 hours of your time. One, to be fingerprinted and another to take an on-line class "Shield the Vulnerable".
Please consider sharing your faith with our teens and walking beside them as they begin their journey toward the Sacrament of Confirmation.

† Flu Shot Fund Raiser

October 9, 2011, 9:00 am - 1:30 pm (Hall)

Youth Ministry will be Sponsoring a flu shot Clinic on Sunday, October 9, in the Parish Hall from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. There will be a brief health questionnaire to fill out and there will be 6 nurses to administer the shots. The cost of the shot is $20.00 which is $5.00 less than CVS or Rite-aid. Supplies are limited. If you plan on getting the flu shot this year, please support Youth Ministry as this is a fund raiser. Please put this date on your calendar and we will see you on October 9. Thank you in advance for your support.

† SOCKTOBER has Arrived!

October 2011

Youth Ministry is again collecting new socks for the homeless. This has been a huge success in the past so we are continuing our efforts this year. Please support this worthy cause by bringing new socks any time during the month of October. There will be a box outside of church all month long for collection of socks. Thank you in advance for your support.
