Respect Life

This ministry promotes the sanctity of human life and seeks ways to support the local life centers which offer aide and support to mothers in crisis pregnancies. We work in unison with the Catholic Church on Pro-Life issues and educate the parishioners on local and national events as well as upcoming legislation which is relevant to the protection of human life.

Pennies from Heaven

Our final total for the Pennies from Heaven Baby Bottle Drive totaled $8,679.66! WOW! What a caring and giving parish we have - and... it's all because of you - the parishioners. Our goal this year was $8,000 and we topped that. We know what a big sacrifice this was for everyone during these tough economic times which is a wonderful testament to what God wants us to be doing - and that is to have a loving and giving nature. The Respect Life Committee would like to extend a very proud "Thank You" to everyone who participated in this fund raiser to help all the local charities out there who depend so heavily on our support to keep their doors open. A special "Thank You" to all the volunteers, our Chairman, Cathy Huff and especially to our Business Manager, Sue Kirrer who gave so much of her time and effort to assist us in this endeavor. God Bless You All.

Spiritual Adoption Program

Month One of Life of Developing Baby
baby

Your spiritually adopted baby has been quite active over the past month. Already your baby is 10,000 times bigger than at conception. Your baby has developed the foundations of his brain, spinal cord, and nervous system by the 20th day. His heart began to beat on the 21st day. His heart is pumping blood through its own circulatory system and the blood type can be different from his mother's. Your baby is most vulnerable during the next month of being aborted. Pray that the Lord of Life might move the heart of his mother to give him the most precious gift of all - the gift of life.

Some of the items needed are: diapers (small to large), baby clothing, blankets, prenatal capsules, any other baby items like bottles, shampoo etc...Monetary donations are always welcome and the clinic will purchase these items. Also, there is a need for bottled water and snacks for the Beginnings Classes held for the parents every Tuesday evening at Santa Clara de Assis Church.

You may stop by the clinic during the hours of 10:00am-5:00pm and drop of your donation or you may call Megan, Clinic Director at 714.524.5545 to make donation arrangements. May God bless you for your generosity.
