† "The Catholic & Orthodox Dialogue" with Fr. John Monestero

You are all invited to the Saturday, December 10 meeting of the San Antonio "Co-Ed" Men's group. Many questions were raised during the meetings to review the recent changes to the Mass, the history behind them and the differences between the Christian religions. These differences are always being addressed through dialogues between the different churches. Fr. John Monestero's work in the Diocese of Orange is to continue these talks and to work the issues. He will talk about his work and "the current state of the Catholic/Orthodox Dialogue which has as its goal the union of our churches and what that means for us as Catholics." Fr. John Monestero has spoken here many times, including a 3-week series on the "The Beliefs of Islam", "St. Catherine of Siena", "How To Observe Advent", and most recently conducting two meeting on the history behind the changes in the Mass.
