The Family Assistance program is a charitable service designed to provide temporary assistance to families who have fallen on hard times and who need financial and other form of support. The program’s primary mission is to provide rental assistance to low income, working families in need. Ministry volunteers from the parish interview prospective families to determine how the Family Assistance program can be of help.
A mentor will be assigned to the families in the program to provide consultation and counseling as needed. A food pantry is maintained for families in the program as well as for other needy individuals. Special distributions of food and gifts are made at unique times such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
